The association, in collaboration with the Rizal Education Development Advisory Council (PREDAC) and the Department of Education-Division of Rizal recently trained 107 public school chemistry teachers of the province, representing 56 schools from the two congressional districts. The five- Saturday program conducted from July to August was aimed at uplifting the content competencies of the participants. Notwithstanding distances they had to travel every time, the participants truly appreciated all the learnings they got from trainers composed of professors from UPLB, UP-Manila, UST, FEU, and DLSU-Manila. The program was made even more remarkable by the fact that all these trainers spent half of their weekends to share their talents, knowledge, and expertise with fellow educators without any form of remuneration; a clear manifestation of their love for our country and people.
